E-Laper Dinas PDSI KHIT Badan Karantina Indonesia
Developed a business trip report management system (E-Perjadin/E-Laper Dinas) for the PDSI KHIT division of Badan Karantina Indonesia, featuring role-based access control, multi-stage approval workflow, and comprehensive reporting for official travel assignments. This project strengthened my skills in designing complex permission systems and status-driven business processes for government institutions.

Overview
E-Laper Dinas is a business trip (perjalanan dinas) reporting system built for the PDSI KHIT division of Badan Karantina Indonesia. It digitizes the full cycle of official travel assignments: assignment creation, report submission by employees, and a multi-tier review and approval process involving section heads and final verifiers.
Challenges
The main challenge was designing a flexible role-permission system where a single account could hold overlapping roles (e.g. a Ketua Tim who is also assigned as Pegawai), while still enforcing strict report-editing rules: only the report owner could edit, and only while the status was Draft or Rejected.
Solution
Implemented Laravel with a middleware-based role and permission layer combined with a report status state machine (Draft → Submitted → Rejected/Approved) to keep the workflow auditable and consistent. The frontend was built with React.js and TailwindCSS, with dedicated dashboards and menus tailored to each role's scope of access.
Key Features
- Role-based access control for Admin, Pegawai, Ketua Tim, and PPK/Verifikator, with support for accounts holding multiple active roles
- Assignment (penugasan) creation and participant management
- Business trip report submission with expense breakdown and supporting document uploads
- Status-driven report workflow: Draft, Submitted, Rejected, and Approved
- Multi-stage review process: Ketua Tim review followed by PPK/Verifikator final approval
- Recapitulation (rekapitulasi) dashboard with exportable PDF/Excel reports
- Master data management module for administrators
